What is a Local Committee?
The Heart of AIESEC in Thailand
A Local Committee (LC) is a semi-autonomous student club operating under the AIESEC in Thailand national entity. Each LC is based at a university and runs its own operations — from sending students abroad on volunteer and internship exchanges, to welcoming international participants, running leadership projects, and hosting events.
Members of each LC gain hands-on leadership experience by working in functional teams such as Outgoing Global Volunteer, Outgoing Global Internship, Incoming Global Volunteer, Finance, Marketing, and more. Every LC is run entirely by students for students.
